Welcome to the new digs.

I loved the Hitchhiker's Guide template. It appealed to my dorkiest(and therefor dominant) side. I liked the color scheme, the liberal use of bright green, the simplicity... It was all neat. To the point where I was afraid to touch it in any way other than adding something centered in the middle of the page, lined up with everything else. AKA my entry.

The other problem was... It didn't feel like ME. It reflected on a dorky aspect of me, sure. That being my small obsession with the book. But it didn't feel like it reflected me. And so I set out on a search. For material. And as I saw Calvin sitting on a rock, looking out into the world with his friend lazily flopped down beside him... I realized. This is me.

At least... This is who I want to be.

I may not be good enough to incorporate color schemes. I may not have oodles of tables and trinkets and doodads galore. But this is the first layout I've ever created, and by god, I'm proud of it.
