Coming back tomorrow. Should probably, you know, start packing.
Said Goodbye to Coral today. Best friend for 600 miles in every direction, got so used to seeing her every day, despite my best efforts not to drop into the flow of it. This was an easier goodbye, though, than that one miserable afternoon in a greyhound station. This time I know I'll be seeing her in 3 weeks.
Saw Return of the King. I refuse to spoil everything, it was all so many different kinds of "holy crap, that's cool!" There's this part that tore at me a little, though. In the bar, with the hobbits just kind of looking at eachother with a "Where do we go from here?" look... And they just shrug their shoulders and clank their mugs, movin' on.
Because it hurts. To be part of something, to see something, big and crazy and epic and amazing, and for it to be over, and for you to just sort of be there, sitting around with the people you share it with. And there's nothing else to do. You clank, you remember, you shrug, you move on.
Other news, none of it really of the theme of this entry (far to neat, threateningly upbeat), so I'll ramble philisophical about it later. Much love, goobers.
