Classes: Automata, Databases, and English.
The two geek classes, I won't try to explain. The english class, apparently, is a "horror film" study. Basically, on Tuesdays we watch movies, and on thursdays, we discuss them. I didn't know this until the first day of class, when she handed out the syllabus, turned off the lights, and we watched "Psycho" in it's entirety on a lecture-hall movie screen.
Goddamn, can you say Goldmine? I can.
Hung out a lot with Nikki lately. She's excellent company, even on personal-bubble days. We're not really close to the point where I can let her inside the bubble, though. It's more like, she's willing to chill outside of it and speak through the intercom. Beautiful smile. Comfortable person. Just about all my friends develop mild dorky crushes on her. Not in a "Marry me, for thou art perfect" sort of way (well, except my upgrade, I think she's in love), but more in a "Wow. You're insanely cool," sort of way. She's guy-comfortable, the kind of person you could sit on a bridge and drink beers and smoke cigarettes with.
Watched Spinal Tap with her two nights ago, thus completing the Christopher Guest viewing experience.
Yesterday, went to a housewarming party at Britanny's new apartment. Went from "I know 2 people here," awkward-conversation-with-other-6-people state to "Holy crap, 20 people just showed up, and one of the two I knew just left" fly-on-the-wall, stupid-private-awkward in one fell swoop. So when Nikki showed up, we used eachother as backrests and sat on the floor, munching pizza and making small-talk, then left for Arby's, and sat on the porch for an hour or two and talked.
My bubble's savior for the day.
That's pretty much all that's happened. Nothing really worth writing about, it just felt like the previous entry had been up for too long.
Stupid filler entries.
